Jennifer Connolly
Jennifer holds an MSc Gestalt Psychotherapy from Metanoia Institute and currently works as an Assistant Tutor on their gestalt training programme. She practices relational gestalt therapy, working collaboratively with clients to explore patterns emerging in their lives and significant relationships. Taking an embodied approach, she seeks to stay with her own and the client’s felt sense of the present moment. Maintaining sensitivity to her own physically felt experience, Jennifer is interested in how my clients live as their bodies, making sense of their world in an embodied way.
Rather than being interpretive, Jennifer seeks to meet clients with an open mind, remaining curious of how they make sense of their world. Her faith in dialogue means attending to what emerges in the therapeutic relationship, even when this might feel difficult.
Jennifer trusts that most of us have the ability to make rewarding contact with others and lead satisfying and creative lives, yet sometimes we get stuck when fixed patterns and beliefs about ourselves get in the way.
