Approach:
Her understanding of therapy is based on the fact that we and other people are inseparable from the different contexts in which we live, work and relate to each other. Each of us lives in his own ‘sensitive world’, which is our current situation. Each person and their physical environment constitute the integrated whole that he/she experiences in the current situation.
Proceeding from the principle of the continuous interaction of the person and the environment (the psychotherapist carries this role), the client and the therapist, interacting directly at the moment in a brand new dance, create a new situation. In the work it is important to be affected by the experiences of another, sometimes unbearable, but not to get stuck in them, not to stop them, but to ‘go through’. The task of the therapist is to support the client in moving towards a holistic perception of himself in his social context.
‘My style of work is influenced by my leaning toward the relational living body process and the dialogic relationship. I view myself as a facilitator in the “healing through meeting” of individuals in a safe relational space providing support for healthy growth through new awareness and a deep connection with the embodied process. As a Gestaltist, I enjoy the excitement of working creatively and being open to all that emerges. I resonate with the suggestion that each session is a “Gestalt Lab” providing exciting opportunities for the new step.’
