Pauline Dobbs
Pauline graduated from the IGC in 1999, and trained as a Supervisor in 2006.
For the past thirty four years Pauline has worked with families, individuals, couples and adolescents. She have facilitated groups in the following: Parenting, Bereavement/Loss , Impact of Separation on Adults and Children. Pauline works in a creative and innovative way, using art, meditation and experiential exercises.
Pauline now works as a Psychotherapist and Supervisor in The Dublin Gestalt Centre, where she see clients and Supervisees. She also provides supervision to supervisees who are in training as Psychotherapists with adults and children, and who work in a variety of settings.
Her work covers a broad range of psychological and emotional difficulties, for example: depression, anxiety, bereavement, separation, trauma and self harm, and the impact and effects of separation on adults and children. She works from a humanistic and integrative approach, providing both long and short term therapy.
At all times Pauline emphasises the importance of the client therapist relationship. She is passionate about her work, and feels privileged to be a part of both her clients’ and supervisees’ journey of self discovery.
