Sandra is a Gestalt Psychotherapist and Supervisor accredited with IAHIP and ICP.
Sandra trained in the Gestalt Institute of Ireland (GII). Sandra works from a humanistic and integrative approach supporting people with a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties. She has considerable experience in working with people recovering from trauma, and people experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression related difficulties. She also works with people struggling with problematic relationships, bereavement, loss, and life transitions.
Sandra has a background in community development with over 25 years’ experience working in the community and voluntary sector providing personal development, educational and community-based programmes for individuals, families, and groups. She is also a facilitator, trainer, and organisational consultant with extensive experience in the areas of supervision, team development, workplace learning, and practitioners’ self-care.
Sandra has a deep belief in each person’s potential for growth and their capacity to respond to change and find meaning and direction in their lives. In her work she emphasises the importance of the therapeutic relationship providing a supportive and safe environment for the exploration and development of deeper personal wholeness and integration.
Sandra works collaboratively with each person and offers both short and long-term psychotherapy sessions based on the individual needs of each client. Sandra is also an experienced supervisor working with a broad range of Psychotherapists, Counsellors, and Allied Health Professionals.
